We have only to observe our thoughts and choices to determine whether we align ourselves with peace, chase after desires, or succumb to depression or inertia. Wednesday 02/18/2026 Another thorn can remove a thorn embedded in our foot. After we use the thorn to extract the embedded one, we toss both aside. So we can use desire itself to remove the negative force of wanting. Yearning for Self-realization can replace the error-driven desire for something external to bring us happiness or security. Thursday 02/19/2026 When we worry, our mind is preoccupied with thoughts of the future. With regret, it returns to the past.
