CONTEMPLATIVE GROUP HIGHLIGHTS
WEEK 4
- Surrendered in God, we keep watch.
- We wait patiently with faith, transforming our fear, and letting go of limiting ideas. We open to the angels of divine inspiration, and the beauty, grace, and light of the present moment.
- The inner Christmas Tree shines the light, awakens curiosity and fearlessness and love for the inner Christ child. We are willing to celebrate the inner and outer Spirit of Christ Consciousness.
- When we find our center through reflection and spiritual practice, our inner light shines forth, igniting faith, hope and a vision for transforming the world.
- We carry love, appreciation, and deep gratitude for the teachings of Kriya Yoga, the Guru, and for the revelation of Self knowing that comes through the beauty and wonder of Advent.
- We prepare for the coming of the Christ by polishing the cradle of our consciousness with our daily meditation practice, deep introspection and discrimination. (Paramahansa Yogananda)
- Boundless curiosity, letting go into the mystery, my “Inner Tree” is hung with the gift of Presence and presents.
- The waking up of Christ Consciousness is ever available as long as we are willing, supportive and patiently ever knowingly that this Advent story is our story.
WEEK 3
- The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of Love and guides our choices to inner joy.
- The Truth is revealed in the silence.
- With stillness and silence, wisdom is revealed. We come home, dis-cover, and surrender to the divine Self.
- We greet the presence of God within our inner silence and without by seeing God in all things, surrendering to the care of our whole self and divine grace. We change our inner governance from ego-consciousness to Divine identity.
- Let go and allow grace to “work in our lives and in our world,” and be present to receive that grace.
- The “Angel of Insight” is revealing the birth of our True identity inspired by God.
- In the silence, intuition arises; in the pause we notice, watch, stay in the God Place, lighting the path on our journey.
WEEK 2
- To have a living faith is to grapple with it. With willingness and hope, we wait and watch. With faith and belief, we surrender. With harmonious action, miracles occur.
- Being alive now, we are anointed to enter into the darkness, make changes, and be born anew through authenticity, willingness, and wisdom.
- Walking thru the darkness holding hands, bringing forth the Light of awareness; daily practices remind us we are not alone; Divine grace is flowing.
- Hope is a guiding light for our lives. God is our life, showing us we can witness habits and transform them.
- The ox represents the cessation of separatism and embracing a unified world. Be patient, wait for guidance, be open to it; it will come.
- Surrendering to the darkness is preparation for receiving the light. We feel the omnipresence of God and remember that we carry our own healing and wholeness within us.
- Willingness, hope, and courage help us to witness the Light of Cosmic Christ Consciousness in the darkness and mystery.
- The act of love is Christ Consciousness. Connection with each other, with nature, with life, is Christ Consciousness.
- In my life, I realized that the way I had been doing things wasn't working, and then I found Kriya Yoga. Now I know that there is a different way that works for me.
- I can let go of the past and heal.
- Being in the present is being with the Christ.
- We watch, wait and expect that something will come-the light will come, God's guidance will come.
- Be Patient, Be open, be willing to act on that guidance.
- There is hope in the world; all we need to do is look around at all of the good.
WEEK 1
- "Only wonder comprehends.” —Gregory of Nyssa
- In this Advent season, we realize God as the center within and have faith and surrender to the inner light to guide us
- Through Advent, we experience a deep connection that encompasses all. We cultivate unwavering faith in the miracle of Christ Consciousness and the sweet anticipation for the revelation of Peace.
- The teachings of Kriya Yoga support us to be in the moment as preparation for the wonder of the Christ Consciousness or Cosmic Christ. We approach with a gentle, faithful, and focused waiting, a personal journey toward the light.
- With faith in knowing that our needs are met, we practice silence, waiting, and staying present in the now, allowing the divine mystery to reveal itself, joy revealed.
- Now we stand in wonder of the coming of the Universal Christ.
- Waiting, wondering, and being open to the mystery of the discovery of the Self, we step into this time of darkness with awareness of the light that dispels the darkness. Every breath is a beginning; every breath is an awakening.
- We embrace the darkness with faith that the light will arrive. We recognize the need for stillness as a way to transform rajasic energy toward sattva.
