CLOSING SESSION
CONTEMPLATIVE GROUP HIGHLIGHTS
- The power and blessing of connecting with like minded people over great physical distances and sharing our experiences while supporting each other as we walk together along our unique paths (within the teachings) towards the same goal.
- “This is a day I’ve not seen before.”
- Go with the flow.
- We are all human.
- Gathering with like-minded souls is so rewarding.
- LEW has helped to jump start our practice and take it even deeper.
- I have a better perspective.
- I appreciate the timelessness of the teachings.
- LEW has reignited the steadfastness of my practice.
- LEW is food for the soul.
- Not about taking a course, it is about living the course in day-to-day life; non-attachment, contentment, sacred listening, perfect timing. Joy in the moment!
- We experience divine beauty through sharing these sacred moments with like-minded people around the world. We honor all souls, while we continue to explore and live the the Eternal Way.
- Practicing kriya yoga, including affirmation, brings freedom and joy. I surrender to God as the doer through me.
- The statement 'ever new joy' has stayed with me. When I first heard it I wondered how does that joy work? Now I know and I try to incorporate it into my life each day, turning away from the negative toward the positive.
- At first I just thought that my meditation was my sadhana. Now I know my sadhana is my entire day. I discovered my purpose, spiritual awakening is my purpose.
- It is, We are It, We forget and We remember. Learning this, I remember my connection to my Self, I remember my essence.
- I have a renewed sense of connection. Even though I live on the other side of the world from CSE, I feel no need to look any further to be connected. I have found my spiritual community and feel a part of it. I feel that I am a part of something that is bigger than myself. This is my spiritual team.
- What I carry forward is a sense of awe and renewed energy as I practice, learn and grow more grounded in the teachings.
- Holy connected by sharing practically applied spiritually awake living to realize, I am That - We are One.
- We are joyfully surfing the growing edge of the tidal wave of divine love, while maintaining our embodied balance with Kriya Yoga practices.
MODULE 6

CONTEMPLATIVE GROUP HIGHLIGHTS
- Sharing our journey in the sangha, in the kinship of Kriyabans, brings us deeper into the eternal within ourselves, and to see that eternal aspect in others. Opening the heart—cultivating connection, compassion, and love.
- The natural unfolding of Love upon the spiritual path brings us to our guru and she shines the light upon the labyrinth of Self knowing and Joy.
- Soul yearning, hair on fire, dedicated faith—DISCIPLESHIP the turning point of awakening!
- Be who I am. The world is an auspicious place for me to wake up. Recognize my own power. Do the spiritual work for me. Have tiktiksha be as natural to me as breathing. What is home? Listen to my voice. Ask the questions. Use the spiritual toolbox.
- We are grateful for unlimited spaciousness to express our truth. We keep finding one harmony through this.
- The Guru is within us. Raise yourself by your Self. Gently turn inward to high knowledge. You will find ever new joy.
- We are all part of the One. We are grateful for each other, for the teachers and experiences in our lives; nothing is wasted when we choose spiritual enlightenment and the revelation of higher knowledge.
- Power of prayer; God is the Guru; faith; one-pointed focus and devotion; sacred journey; agreements with higher self; discipleship is a journey to higher knowledge; guru relationship is a soul connection, don’t get caught up on the ego connection.
- With discernment and grace we acknowledge the guru within.
- Keep up the discipline even when the group is not there. Maintain the zeal for enlightenment. Appreciate the gift of the relationship with the teacher. Appreciate what has been given. There is a difference between “finding myself” and ‘finding my Self!”. “The brain and the spine are the altar of God”. Remember to pray.
- "Oh Lord, don't change my circumstances, change me!" —Sri Gyanamata
- Our innate soul’s knowing drew us toward the Truth. The Truth was found in these teaching and kept drawing us toward growth, transformation and toward discipleship. Even in discipleship there are feelings of insecurity (am I doing all that I can do?). Discipleship is becoming more of who I truly am. Childhood memories in traditional religion were of “it can’t be right that this is the only way” “there are too many other people that don’t know these teachings and they can’t be left out of God’s family”. Distractions still get in my way at times.
- We feel gratitude for the grace of God for our early spiritual experiences and for bringing us to CSE. We appreciated the Chakra meditation with the physical cues Uma gave, and we appreciate this course’s focus on living a sattvic life.
- We gratefully awaken to and appreciate the gifts that reveal themselves in the company of others through deep sharing and mutual support.
- I am in the flow of the Guru's guidance, as I surrender to divine grace through attunement and practice.
- Awakening is a process we willingly take when we’re ready and open. We have the support of the lineage, a loving community, the literature, Sunday satsang and retreats.
- Yogis experience the process of awakening, inspired by the Love and Light of our Guru, growing in awareness, practicing patience and dispassion, connecting within our Selves and within Community in a shared Yearning for God.
MODULE 5

CONTEMPLATIVE GROUP HIGHLIGHTS
- Keep up the daily habit of sadhana practice even if its not my usual time; better to create the strong practice and reinforce my commitment to Self & God-Realization.
- Like the wave contains all the qualities of the ocean, listening to the promptings of the soul takes me to the shore of liberation.
- Peace comes from inside. The peace of my meditation carries throughout the day on this path of joy and fullness.
The true me is the God me, which I admire and respect. Admiring the beauty that Uma brings to the teachings, imbued in such peace, tuning me to the song in my heart. - Being the growing edge of love. Affirming wholeness, softening, unfolding, and dis-covering our authentic expression in the world.
- Rest is important; the importance of a 2nd meditation; live simply and stay here, stay present, be content, and breathe; make time for pleasure and don’t feel guilty about it; release old scripts; the importance of affirmations; live intentionally; believe that liberation is possible in this lifetime if you continue with the practices; practice awareness of thoughts.
- We take spiritual inventory of ourselves, commit to being present, and affirm we are in the right place; follow love and joy in all things.
- Transformation happens around us and in us when we embody the growing edge of divine Love. It brings peace.
- Cultivating a sattvic lifestyle is the foundation for Dharmic Living.
- The fullness and richness of life is now. I am held by the universe of Love.
- I need affirmations all the time! When not being consistent, I can notice the shift. I find that my purpose is to be content, as all goodness stems from that. My purpose is in the little moments. Less coffee, more God. More prana is needed in my diet. More discipline, more sattva. Creating headlines is GENIUS! Spontaneous expressions of joy within routines and plans. Balancing the four aims.
- "Inhabit the earth, live with faith, find joy in God and you will fulfill the wishes of your heart." Psalms 38
- "What is the use for a man gaining the entire world, if he loses his soul on the way?" Gospel
- The practical nature of yoga, freedom that comes from knowing, skillful living, button free existence, generosity by how teachings are shared with details and examples, how the many models support application of spiritual practice in life, life is an auspicious place for spiritual practice.
- Affirmations simplify and deepen my life. I am living a sattvic life.
- We are a combination of the qualities of our thoughts, actions, and inputs. Once we understand how the gunas work, we are able to better understand and navigate our inner world, and to work with what life is giving us.
- Freedom. Liberation of Consciousness is a noble purpose. Understanding what that really means takes commitment to grow in my practice and remembering to be open and aware of the flow of grace in my life.
- We are reminded of and immersed in the richness of life, as we happily practice and affirm the joy of the four aims of life. We are a reflection of God's pure love.
- Choose happiness, cultivate a sattvic life of Higher Purpose by starting small and arranging conditions for Joy and Intentional Living throughout our day.
- The awareness of Divinity in all is becoming easier and noticing is transforming.
